Developed in our Pennine workshop for the care of vintage sheepskin garments, this specialist workshop blend is used when working with time-worn flying jackets and classic shearling coats. It is intended primarily for the leather side of sheepskin, where balance, restraint and control are essential.
The formulation is designed to absorb gradually, conditioning the skin without over-softening the hide or migrating into the fleece. This measured approach supports flexibility and resilience while allowing the material to retain its natural structure, breathability and character.
When applied sparingly and with care, it can help restore softness and movement to sheepskin that has dried through age or storage. The improvement is material rather than cosmetic. Some garments may show subtle enrichment of the leather surface, while others regain suppleness with little visible change. Over-application is neither required nor beneficial.
This blend is intended for sheepskin garments only. In experienced hands, it may also be used very sparingly on dried suede or reversed sheepskin, taking care to avoid oversaturation, surface darkening or contact with the fleece.
Instructions for use are included with each tin. Produced in small batches. Supplied in a 100 ml tub.
