Maintenance Leather Conditioner - Workshop Blend

Developed, handmade and used in our Pennine workshop, Maintenance Conditioner is for the ongoing care of finished vintage leather jackets in regular wear. It is the blend we apply to jackets that are structurally sound but beginning to show dryness, surface fatigue or reduced flexibility with age and use.

Like all our Workshop Blends, it is made in small batches from carefully selected natural ingredients, with no silicones, petroleum, alcohol or solvents. It is formulated for the controlled care of vintage leather, not as a general-purpose surface treatment.

This is preventative care. Made with a lighter wax content than our Heritage Conditioner, it nourishes the leather and supports its finish without building up on the surface, so it can be used regularly. It helps keep the leather supple and slows the moisture loss and fibre fatigue that come from movement, wear and exposure. Applied sparingly by hand, the leather should feel nourished and settled, with its natural character and patina intact.

Best suited to: finished and smooth vintage leather jackets in rotation, seasonal maintenance, and care between deeper restoration intervals. It supports long-term wear but is not a substitute for restoration where that is genuinely needed.

Not intended for: porous, unfinished or bare leather, suede or nubuck. For porous or delicate leather, see our Neutral Conditioner. For dry, depleted hides that need deeper work, see our Heritage Conditioner.

Please note: some hides may darken slightly during application; this usually settles as the conditioner absorbs and the leather rests. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first and let it settle fully before going further.
