Neutral Leather Conditioner - Workshop Blend

Developed and used in our Pennine workshop, this Neutral Conditioner is a non-darkening leather jacket conditioner created for the restoration and care of vintage leather jackets where colour preservation is essential. It is the blend we rely on for lighter, porous, or delicate leathers when a leather conditioner that does not darken or alter the original finish is required.

This workshop blend absorbs gently into open fibre structures, replenishing internal oils lost through age, wear, storage, and environmental exposure. It restores flexibility and reduces stiffness without introducing surface shine or tonal shift when applied correctly. Once settled, the appearance of the leather remains visually unchanged.

Conditioning takes place within the leather rather than on the surface. By supporting internal balance and reviving fatigued fibres, the hide becomes more responsive while retaining breathability and visual integrity.

Particularly suited to porous leathers, lightly finished hides, chrome-tanned garments, and sensitive vegetable-tanned leather where visible change is not acceptable. Ideal for light leather jackets and restoration work where maintaining original tone is critical. Used sparingly and warmed by hand before application, it provides controlled, neutral conditioning without compromising character.
