Our Story

Breathing New Life Into History

It started with a jacket...

— a 1940s motorcycle piece, battered, scarred, and forgotten. I found it at a local market over a decade ago. The leather was cracked and the lining torn, but something about it stopped me. The weight of the hide, the smell, the years still clinging to it. It wasn’t just a garment; it was a story that had survived.

That discovery set me on a path I never left. I became fascinated by the craft of true leather restoration, combining traditional techniques with advanced garment care and years of study into the structure, texture, and behaviour of vintage hides. What began as curiosity turned into years of refinement, investment, and quiet experimentation — perfecting a process that restores these jackets with respect for their age, strength, and history.

Inside our Yorkshire mill workshop, every piece is meticulously revived by hand. No mass production, no shortcuts, only time, skill, and experience. Each jacket is studied and restored with care, revived to preserve its integrity and the character it has earned through age. Every detail is finished with intention, ensuring it remains both authentic and wearable for decades to come. The result is not a reproduction or a modern imitation, but a genuine original carefully reawakened.

Over the years, our work has reached collectors, stylists, and film productions. Some of our restored jackets have been sourced for Pinewood Studios and the upcoming series SAS: Rogue Heroes, a fitting home for garments built on history, character, and resilience. What began as a personal obsession has become a lifelong craft: to carry history forward, one jacket at a time.
