Vintage WW2 1940s German Officer Goatskin Leather Trench Coat

This German leather trench coat reflects the disciplined construction and material standards associated with late interwar and early wartime military tailoring. Produced in Germany during the late 1930s to early 1940s, it belongs to a period when privately commissioned garments were made to a higher material and tailoring specification than standard issue pieces, favouring durability, structure and restraint over ornament.

There is natural creasing and surface character consistent with age, but no thinning or weakness. The lining is clean and well preserved. All zips, buckles, buttons and fastenings remain secure and fully functional. It presents as a rare and well preserved example of German military leather outerwear from the late interwar and early wartime era.
