Vintage Stewart Florence Calfskin Leather Aviator Flight Jacket 1940s Style

A vintage Stewart leather flight jacket from Florence, finished in calf leather that has developed over years into something a new jacket cannot replicate. The hide is rich and warm, sitting in that deep cognac range that shifts toward amber in the light. Across the chest, back and sleeves it shows an honest patina, with tonal variation, natural creasing through the movement points, and the occasional light scuff, all consistent with a jacket that has been worn as intended. It has not been over-finished, allowing the grain and character of the calf hide to remain clear. This is not artificial distress. It is the jacket earning its depth over time.

Stewart was established in Florence in 1975, within a region long associated with leather working. The interior is lined in a cotton and viscose weave in a warm tan tone, with a shearling panel across the upper back and shoulders providing additional insulation.
