Vintage 1990s Redskins Buffalo Hide Leather Trucker Jacket

A brown leather trucker jacket by Territoire Redskins, the French label built around the language of American workwear and frontier clothing. The cut follows the Levi’s Type III trucker template closely, with double chest pockets, a rear yoke, adjustable hem tabs and a button front, translated here into buffalo leather rather than denim, which is exactly the kind of reinterpretation Redskins handled well. Both interior labels are present and legible. One reads Territoire Redskins, Garment and Accessories, Genuine Leather with care text in French and English, the other Welcome to Redskins Territory. The Redskins script is embossed directly into the leather above the right chest pocket.

The front closes on a full button placket, each button marked Authentic Redskins. The chest pockets are finished with shaped flaps and close on branded snaps. Two lower hand pockets sit at the waist. The cuffs close with matching snap fasteners. Adjustable tabs with snap closures are set at both sides of the rear hem. A single dome button sits at the back of the collar. All hardware is consistent and original throughout.

The interior is lined in a dark brown satin, present and in very good condition. Two internal pockets are fitted and fully functional.

The leather is buffalo hide, heavy and substantial. The surface shows natural variation across the jacket. Areas that have seen more handling carry a smoother, slightly polished finish, while the shoulders, yoke and collar show a drier tone where exposure has drawn the colour out. This contrast is typical of buffalo leather and develops through wear over time. The jacket has been cleaned and treated with a neutral conditioner in the workshop to support the leather while preserving its original surface character.

All hardware is present and functioning. The structure is sound throughout, with all seams secure.
