This 1950s German motorcycle jacket is a road warrior’s second skin—shaped by speed, rebellion, and the open road. Worn by members of a post-war Motorrad Club, it lived fast and hard, carrying every crease and scar as a badge of honour. Its deep green vegetable-tanned leather, trimmed in bold red piping, makes no apologies—this is a jacket built to stand out in motion or at rest.
Made by Aero Leder Bekleidung, it features triple waist buckles for wind protection, a quilted kidney panel for extra back support, and a cut that hugs the body without restriction. From the Autobahn to café stops, it was made to move. The patina is complex and captivating—years of wear etched into the grain, rich with tone and texture.
Professionally cleaned and conditioned using techniques tailored to vegetable-tanned leather, the jacket remains strong, supple, and full of character. Its original moleskin lining remains intact, with one sleeve lining carefully replaced to preserve integrity. The zippers—main, pocket, and sleeve—have been updated with period-correct German hardware, a testament to the care and respect shown by its original owner.
