A Schott N.Y.C. Perfecto café racer jacket presented here in deadstock condition, complete with original swing tags and never worn. Produced within Schott’s European line, this is a clean, straightforward rider built from black cowhide with a controlled, wearable silhouette.

The construction is direct and balanced. A centre front zip runs clean through the body, paired with a snap-fastened stand collar that sits close to the neck. A single horizontal chest zip pocket is set neatly across the upper panel, with two angled hand pockets positioned at the waist. The overall layout is restrained and functional, consistent with the café racer pattern.

The cowhide is smooth and even in finish, with a soft natural sheen. In this condition it remains completely unbroken, with no creasing through the sleeves or body. The handle is supple from the outset, lighter than Schott’s heavier US-made Perfecto jackets, but still structured and well balanced.

Across the back, a pin-tuck stitched yoke adds subtle structure through the shoulders without disrupting the clean lines. Double buckle adjusters sit at the waist, allowing the fit to be drawn in when worn.

Internally, the jacket is fully quilted and finished with Schott’s Perfecto 1913 eagle embroidery. The Schott N.Y.C. neck label with US flag tag is present, along with the original swing tags confirming reference LC2403.

This is not a vintage US production Perfecto. It sits within Schott’s later European line, produced for international distribution. What defines this example is its condition. Completely unworn, with tags intact, it offers a clean, unused piece with the look of a classic Schott rider.
