It borrows from the B-3, the sheepskin bomber jacket American crews flew in through the thirties and the war: a short body you can move in, fleece worn on the inside, a big collar to turn up against the wind, and buckled straps at each side of the waist to shut out the draught. Diesel kept every one of those ideas and threw out the brown. The olive panels sit where a working jacket takes its knocks, at the pockets, the elbows, the cuffs and the hem.
